16th Birthday Party at Brantham Hall

DJDoubleTrouble did a disco at Brantham Village Hall for a 16th Birthday party. This was one of those nights when everything just went perfectly. The youngsters all got into the music and started dancing from the very first song. My opening track was Greyhound by Swedish House Mafia. This song has got an awesome beat and was perfect for testing my speakers out and getting the right sound levels, DJDoubleTrouble played a lot of dance tracks, chart music and old club tunes from the 90s. This was right up my street and i had a great night choosing the classic dance tracks like Sandstorm, Green eyes and Gouryella . There were lots of requests for up to date chart music too. The girls went crazy for Call me maybe by Carly Rae Jepson. Everyone was on the floor dancing and jumping around to the beats.

Another great track from the night which got everyone going was Number 1 by Tynchy Stryder. There was about 80 -100 kids at the party a great turn out and brilliant atmosphere. Big thank you to Darren my light man as he did a really top notch job for me. The lights looked absoloutley amazing and he got the changes spot on with the beats and the bass. At the end of the night i got lots of great comments about the laser lights and people seemed to really love my setup and kit. We had very good feedback about DJDoubleTrouble and i was chuffed to bits. They said they would highly reccommend us and took quite a few business cards from me too. All in all a perfect night for DJDoubleTrouble!!

1st April Childrens Birthday Party

DJDoubleTrouble did a Disco at Knodishall Village Hall for a 3 year old boy’s birthday. The little boy had a bouncy castle outside which him and his friends could play on. Its not often that i see birthday partys with bouncy castles so this was a new experience and it was great to see all the children enjoying themselves. It was also good to see the weather was nice and sunny. It was a perfect day for a bouncy castle party. The party was very relaxed and fun and the children were given a choice what they wanted to do, they were free to go inside the hall and dance to my music or play outside on the bouncy castle. DJDoubleTrouble played some good games inside with musical chairs and pass the parcel and musical statues. It was really lovely when one of the little girls came up to me and said thank you for the games!

We played some more music after the games and one of the boys got in the way of the smoke machine and got a mouthful of smoke – woops i didn’t see him there. It turned out that he was ok but then all the children wanted to get covered with smoke. They really liked that. When i switched on the bubble machine they loved it. It just looked to me like they were in a new world; a world of their own and they were really enjoying themselves. It went very well and my clients told me they will highly recommend us.
